The season began on the track in Qatar, where competition in the Qatar Airways Qatar 1812 Km was fierce from the start. The Peugeot TotalEnergies team fielded two cars for the competition - the 9X8, with the No. 93 consisting of Mikkel Jensen, Nico Müller and Jean-Eric Vergne, and the twin No. 94 with Paul Di Resta, Loïc Duval and Stoffel Vandoorne. The team finished the inaugural race of the season in 19th and 15th place, respectively.

Podium and work on the Peugeot 9X8

The next stages of the season, which were the 6 Hours of Imola and the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, were also quite challenging. In both races, Peugeot TotalEnergies recorded better and better times. The team focused both on its main goal - to guarantee a podium finish in the 2024 season - and on systematically improving its flagship unit, the Peugeot 9X8.

The most important start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans season

The highlight of the season was the performance at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Peugeot TotalEnergies proved itself on the track against the best teams in the world. In this race, full of excitement and twists and turns, Peugeot cars finished 11th and 12th, respectively.

Breakthrough in Japan

The breakthrough result came at the 6 Hours of Fuji. There the team won an excellent fourth place with car No. 93. This was a sign that the modifications made to the hypercar and the optimization of the strategy are yielding tangible results. For the first time in the season, Peugeot TotalEnergies competed for the top spot against the fastest drivers. The eighth place of car No. 94 was also a promising result.

A coveted podium at the end of the season

The culmination of Peugeot TotalEnergies' efforts was the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain race, where car No. 93 took third place. The entire Peugeot TotalEnergies team is proud of the results achieved. We got better and better from race to race. We proved that technology and commitment are key to success. The aerodynamic solutions introduced and the improved strategy have paid off. This is a good prognosis for next season.
